Last week we had the Galway Science & Technology Exhibition at NUI Galway. Over 30,000+ served! Good to see so many children (and their dads) absolutely absorbed.
This week our focus shifts to music and medicine! The music comes on Monday 29Nov at the Movember gig at the College Bar. Go Panda Go and The Lost Chords will take the stage at 9pm in aid of the great charity event. On Tuesday, the usual SU Sessions will take place in An Bialinn @ 6pm.
On Friday we shift gear again (both literally and figuratively) when we provide the audio visual for a medical conference at University College Hospital Galway.
The Galway Science & Technology Exhibition will be held on Sunday November 21st at NUI Galway's Bailey Allen Hall.
Staunton Media is delighted to provided Audio Visual Services for this event, which is now in its 13th year. This year's Exhibition will be the first time it has been held at the Bailey Allen. For more details go to GalwayScience.ie.

Here's a video we did recently for the NUIG 1st Year Commerce Induction day ... We did NOT choose the music!
Man, has it been busy around here. In the last few weeks we've been providing AudioVisual and PA services, as well as audio and video recording, around Galway for bands, stand-up comedians, graduations and conferences. Haven't had much time to devote to the web, but looking forward to the release of Drupal 7.0 which is now out in Beta. Will be having a look at that in the coming week or so, and decide on a new online presence for Staunton Media. Check back soon.
This week we've got comedian David O'Doherty on Monday night for a sold out show in the O'Flaherty Theater. On Tuesday evening at 6pm John Sheery & The Creatures in the Bialann for a free gig.
Cormac's weekly radio show is moving to a new time slot of 8pm on Friday evening. DJ Ozz will be joining me every week for a show we're calling 'G-Town with Cormac & Ozz'. Tune in on 101.3FM or Flirt FM.ie. Here's a chance to listen to last Friday show on Flirt REWIND.
We're also continuing writing for our new TV documentary ... but we have to keep details under wrap for the mo. Stay tuned for updates.
Have a good week, y'all
Here's just a few of the things we have on this week ..
Tuesday - SU Sessions @ Bialinn, NUIG at 6pm. First band we have up in this year's sessions is Key West..
Thursday - Flash Mob ... Flash Mob somewhere in Galway on Thursday, we can't tell you obviously, as that would spoil the surprise element, but Staunton Media crew will be filming the proceedings.
Friday - Cormac's weekly radio show at 22:00 on Flirt FM101.3
Nobel prize winning poet Seamus Heaney will be in the Bailey Allen tonight along with the Contemo Quartet. As usual Staunton Media will be providing the Audio Visual services for the evening. Ah, culture at last.
NUIG Student Union presents comedy and music gigs throughout the academic year, and for the second year running have chosen Staunton Media to provide all audio support.
