This week at Staunton Media we have been experimenting with our live streaming video service by taking it into the public domain and over public networks.
Tonight we will attempt to live steam the final of the Threesis competition live from An Taibhdhearc theatre over the 4G network. We must be crazy! You can tune into our attempt here from 7pm.
On Tuesday night we streamed the OMiG meet-up from the Harbour Hotel in Galway using the hotel's broadband. It was a bit hairy at times, what with 200 digital marketers in the room and all online at the same time. Lesson learned, and next time we will use a slightly lower resolution. However, we had 140 people watch it live from Canada, France, US and UK, as well as Ireland of course.
