We had the good folks from Michigan State University back again at NUI Galway for the end of their MAET programme. Again we were on hand to provide the folks back home with a HD live video stream on YouTube. This year we stepped it up to a multi-camera production.

Galway will be in the spotlight across Europe tonight (Friday June 19) when IrishTV’s weekly Galway County Matters programme airs on Sky TV for the first time.
The Kinvara Music Festival, the Olympic Boxing Club in Westside, Charlie Byrne's Bookshop and Bioblitz in Clonbur will all be featured when Galway County Matters airs tonight, and every Friday, at 8.30pm.
The programme can be seen across Ireland, the UK, and Europe on Sky Channel 191, Freesat 400, Eircom’s eVision, free-to-air boxes and online at Irishtv.ie and Irishtv.com.
Broadcasting 24 hours a day, IrishTV will features unique home-produced programmes, with each county in Ireland having its own dedicated show.
We covered the National 5-a-Side Football Championship or the Salthill 5s as they are locally known this weekend with a live video feed.
Even as limited by the weather as we were, we were very happy with the quality of the feed. Over 350 people from around the globe tuned in LIVE.

An Taoiseach was on hand to open the new Biomedical Science building at NUI Galway last week. This is an amazing facility in what is Galway's only truly world class building. The video we produced captures what an absolutely inspiring place it is.
The CCMI was opened by Sean Sherlock TD earlier this month. It is the first place in Ireland to manufacture human stem cells. For more informartion, check out this video we produced.
